2、nassemblyintheschoolhall.IsatnexttoagirlwhosenamewasDiana.Wcsoonbecamebestfriends.Duringtheassembly,theheadmastertoldusabouttherulesofIheschool.Healsotoldusthathcbestwaytoearnrcscclwaslodevoteourselvestostudyandachievehighgrades.ThissoundedlikemyschoolinChina.1hadmanyteachersinthepastyear.MrHeywood,

3、myclassteacher,wasveryhelpful.MyfavouriteIcachcrwasMissBurkc-IlovedhelessonsthatshegaveinEnglish1.iterature.Inourclasstherewere28students.ThisisabouttheaveragesizeIbrBritishschools.WehadtomovelodifferentclassroomsfordiITerentclasses.Wealsohaddifferentstudentsinsonicclasses,soitwasastruggleformetorem

4、emberallthefacesandnames.Ifoundthathchomeworkwasnotasheavyaswhat1usedlogetinmyoldschool.However,itwasabitchallengingformeatfirst,becausealllhchomeworkwasinEnglish.IIeltlucky,asallmyIeachcrsgavencmuchencouragementandIenjoyedallmysubjects:English,History,English1.iterature,ComputerScience,Maths,Scienc

5、e,PE,Art.CookingandFrench.MyEnglishimprovedalot,as1usedEnglisheverydayandspentanhoureachdayreadingEnglishbooksinthelibrary.1usuallywenttotheComputerClubduringthelunchbreak,soIcouldsende-mailstonyfamilyandfriendsbackhomeforfree.IalsohadanextraFrenchclassonTuesdayevenings.CookingwasreallyfunasIlearnth

6、owtobuy,prepaeandcookfood.Attheendoftermweheldaclasspartyandweallhadtocooksomething.IwasgladthatallmyclassmateswerefondofthecakethatImade.StudentsatthatschoolhavetostudyMaths,EnglishandScience,butcanstopstudyingsomesubjectsiftheydonotlikethem,forexample.Histor),andFrench.Theycanchooseothersubjectsli
