2、ectivelyknownasASEAN+3-therearefull-fledgedcashandsecuritiessettlementsystemsthatarebeingcontinuouslymaintainedandimproved.Secondly,thisdocumentbrieflydescribesgovernmentbondandcorporatebondmarketsintheregion.Thirdly,itsharesinformationoncurrentenhancementstofinancialmarketinfrastructures(FMIs)inthe

3、region.Cross-BorderSettlementInfrastructureForum(CSIF)membershaveanincentivetointroducenewtechnologies,includingdistributedledgertechnologiesandcentralbankdigitalcurrencies,whichcanimpactthefunctioningofFMIs.Cross-borderconnectionsbetweenFMIs,includingcentralsecuritiesdepository-real-timegrosssettle

4、mentlinkagesandpeer-to-peerconnectionsoffastpaymentsystems,arealsobeingimplemented.Finally,CSIFmemberinstitutionshaveagreedtoadoptinternationalstandards,includingInternationalOrganizationforStandardization(ISO)20022,fortheirFMIstoenhanceinteroperabilityandthepotentialtoconnecttoeachother.HIGHLIGHTS今

5、AllcentralbanksinASEAN+3havedevelopedandaresuccessfullyoperatingreal-timegrosssettlementsystems.今Theinteroperabilityofthereal-timegrosssettlementsystemshasincreaseddrasticallycomparedwiththeearliersystemsbecauseoftheadoptionofISO20022andlatesttechnologies.fMarketsintheregionhavebeenadoptingdeliveryv

6、ersuspaymentmechanisms,inwhichboththebondandcashlegsaresettledsimultaneously.Thisappliestobothgovernmentandcorporatebondmarkets.*Fastpaymentsystemsarealsorapidlybeingimplemented,andnotonlyforretailpayments.今TheCross-BorderSettlementInfrastructureForumwillcontinuetopromotesecureregionalinteroperabili
